In Premium versions of Alto's Adventure, you may purchase the Helmet or Pickaxe from the Workshop in exchange for coins. These items allow you to revive and continue your run after running into a rock or falling into a chasm.
Once purchased the helmet/pickaxe are always "equipped" the game will prompt you with a pop-up asking if you would like to use the item when you die via crash or chasm.
Be warned, the item is consumed when it gets used so save them for a particularly good run!
