- Generally you can restart the device by holding down the power button until options to power off or restart pop up.
-
Please ensure you are using the latest version of the game.
To check for updates, open the Google Play Store (or the store where you downloaded the app) and search for Alto's Adventure. If a button to “update” is available, tap it to update the app to the latest version.
-
Try clearing the app cache
- Go to Settings > Apps > Alto > Storage > “Clear Cache” (not "Clear Data" or you will lose your local game progress). Then launch the game, you may need to sign into Google Play Games again.
-
If you're having problems loading cloud save data, please ensure you're logged into the same Google account that you used previously.
- To check this open the game and click the "Menu" button in the top right corner. Swipe over to the right until you see the "Google Play" menu and tap "Sign In" if you aren't already signed in.
-
If those steps do not resolve the issue, please uninstall the game and reinstall it from the Google Play Store.
- Your progress should be saved in the cloud, but to be sure make a quick run in game while connected to the internet. To uninstall the app, open Settings > Apps > Alto > 'Uninstall'. Then search for the app in the Play Store and reinstall.
